Sentry Insurance is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, technical and results driven individual to fill a highly skilled position in our National Accounts - IH Services Division. As an Industrial Hygiene Consultant Sr. you will work with Corporate Risk Management, Safety Management, and Plant/Facility Management contacts as well as brokerage firms to complete Industrial Hygiene Services for our casualty line of business primarily for our National Account customers with premium in excess of $500,000.
Position will be located preferably in Toledo, OH; secondary locations include Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI or Pittsburg, PA.Travel responsibilities would include Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, western New York and Western Pennsylvania. At this event, Director of Applications Engineering & Product Knowledge, Dave Wagner discussed Industrial Scientific’s history, mission, vision, and products and also led the members on a tour of the 200,000 square foot facility. Thanks to all who attended! The Manager, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for planning, initiating, and managing the policies, procedures and business practices required to assure compliance with domestic and international chemical and environmental regulations as they relate to LORD materials and products worldwide. ![]() Thank you to the 35 members / non-members who attended the Particulates Seminar on Sept. 22 - your support and participation allows the Pittsburgh AIHA to continue to offer these events! Special thanks to our speakers - Dr. Dietrich Weyel, Occupational Health Consultants, Debbie Dietrich, SKC, Inc., Mark Sullivan & Sandi Linatsas of Environmental Devices Corp., and Keith Rickabaugh, RJ Lee Group. The Council Building at the Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters facility was a perfect venue for this event! Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch in the 3-story atrium. Waterfall Catering's pasta bar, meatballs / grilled chicken, salad, fruit and cookies was a big hit! Overall, a great event - thanks Frank Pokrywka (Pittsburgh AIHA Secretary) for taking the lead on coordinating this event! The event details are still being finalized, but most likely a 1/2-day (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) event that includes continental breakfast, presentation, tour. At our July 2016 Business Meeting we welcomed our new Executive Committee Members (see below). Thank you to those who continue to serve our Local Section and dedicate their time for the benefit of our membership. Members who are interested in running for office during our February 2017 Election are asked to contact Frank Pokrywka, CIH at [email protected] to express their interest. In 2017, we will select a President-elect, Secretary (2 yr. term), and Director (2 yr. term). Please consider getting involved!

11:15 AM - 3:30 PM -- Our day begins with lunch at The Lamplighter, conveniently located on Route 22 in Delmont. Following a presentation describing the pipeline system, origin points, NGL properties and potential hazards and other discussion, we will proceed for a tour of the Delmont Pump Station close by The Lamplighter restaurant. We will see the major components of the pump station, including manifolds, valving, bypasses, pig traps, flare stack, filter vessels, the main line multi-stage centrifugal pump and 10,000-hp motor.
